Music

Service_13.jpg

Immanuel Baptist Church places a high priority on music in its worship. The purpose of the music is to support the theme of each Sunday and the lectionary readings for that day. Congregational singing is the most important aspect of the church’s music. Immanuel’s congregation sings hymns with intelligence and enthusiasm, accompanied by an outstanding pipe organ.

Instruments

Our worship is enhanced by the use of various musical instruments. The hymn singing accompaniment and service music is provided by a fine Moller pipe organ, considered to be among the best church organs in the area. The grand piano provides a variety of service music and vocal/choir accompaniment. In addition, you will hear solo pieces played by violin, flute, or guitar.
