Parents' Day Out at Immanuel

Parents' Day Out at Immanuel Baptist Church is available to children age six months to three years. We are open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Pre-registration forms are available in the church office. Completing this form with a small deposit automatically holds a place on the waiting list for the next available opening in your child's age grouping.

We believe that the strengths of this program are due to the fact that we are a small program and we have a low director-teacher turnover. Since our program began in 1979, we have only had three directors. The ages of our staff members vary from young mothers to grandmothers. Each classroom has two teachers at all times, and often the director is the third person in a classroom.

Our PDO program serves families in the church and in the community. Our aim is to provide quality care in a loving Christian environment. We strive to be available to minister to the families as needed. We love and are genuinely concerned about our families beyond our daily class time. We invite them to IBC services, and to all functions scheduled for the preschool children. We always respect their right to be involved members of other faith communities.
