Coming This Sunday February 19

February 19: Humankind’s first domicile was a garden.  The garden was planted by God, the first gardener.  Every garden that follows in scripture, and every garden that has ever been, is on some level an imperfect copy of Eden.  The prophet Jeremiah saw gardens as a means of coping with grief.  To the grief-stricken Israelites he wrote, “Plant gardens and eat their produce.”  He foresaw solace in the creative work of gardening.  Join me Sunday as we look at the possibilities available to us for coping with grief. —Pastor Steven
