The Season of Lent - Services and Resources

During the season of Lent, the Worship Committee has planned a series of worship experiences that will guide our community of faith on our journey to the cross:

Passport Camps 2018

Enough means “as much or as many as required.” We use this word when we are tired, full, or when the job is complete. At Passport camps this summer, our youth and older children will explore the big idea that God is enough for whatever comes our way.

Operation Inasmuch

In April, Immanuel will devote a week to our observance of Operation Inasmuch as we seek to carry out our mission to wholeheartedly serve those on the margins of society. Here’s the schedule of events:

Ash Wednesday

We will begin our observance of the season of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service on February 14 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Elizabeth-Anne Lovell, a student in Central Baptist Theological Seminary's Women's Leadership Initiative at Central Tennessee, will be preaching the homily and Pastor Steven will conduct the imposition of the ashes.
