Hurricane Irma Recovery

Our congregation responded generously in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, sending over $3,000 to South Main Baptist Church in Houston. South Main is serving as the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's base of operations for the recovery work in Houston.

Now we have the opportunity to support CBF's relief work in areas affected by Hurricane Irma. CBF Disaster Response and Florida CBF continue to assess the damage Hurricane Irma inflicted on the Bahamas, Cuba and Puerto Rico. Plans are already underway for volunteer staging areas in Miami, Jacksonville, and Fort Myers. Jacksonville, which suffered record-setting storm surge, will be the location of staging sites at Island View Baptist Church and Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church. Plans are forming on the other sites as well.

You can make a donation through Immanuel to support CBF's recovery efforts by writing "Hurricane Irma" on the memo line of your check or on your envelope.
