Senior Adults

The Immanuel Senior Adults meet in Fellowship Hall on the first Tuesday of each month for a program, fellowship, and a meal. At the meeting, the visitation committee distributes the names of all of the homebound members with the idea that they will be contacted by a visit, phone call, or card before the next meeting. Keeping in touch with each other is a very important part of the senior adult ministry. Another facet of the senior adult ministry is travel. Each month an activity is planned for those who wish to participate. Past activities have included attending a play or musical, a visit to a museum, or a day trip to a place of interest. Each year a major trip is planned. Immanuel's senior adults are active in ministry projects like Room in the Inn, Luke 14:12, and Operation Inasmuch.

Beryl and Pat Vick coordinate the Senior Adult Ministry at Immanuel. Beryl was Minister of Music at IBC for 33 years. He is now Minister of Music, Emeritus. You can reach Beryl at bvickjr@bellsouth.net.
